Clovity Partners with Open Options to Provide Enterprise-Grade, Automated Access Management Solutions Through Integration with Its CSensorNet IoT Platform
ADDISON, TEXAS AND SAN FRANCISCO (PRWEB) MARCH 09, 2021
Silicon Valley–based emerging technology and IoT platform provider Clovity has partnered with Texas-based Open Options, creators of the cutting-edge access management software DNA Fusion, to launch one of the world’s first completely automated thermal screening and access revocation systems. This initial integration for Smart Thermal Screening has expanded Clovity’s badging and access management capabilities into additional automation use cases for Smart Building and Smart Campus solutions. By pushing and pulling data to Clovity’s IoT platform, numerous experiential, safety, security, and management use cases are unlocked.
Through this integration, clients can screen employees without additional personnel and automatically prevent access for individuals with elevated temperatures by revoking badge credentials. Delivered as a cohesive IoT-as-a-Service solution, Clovity orchestrates all aspects of hardware, software, cloud, installation, connectivity, and integration to provide a clear, streamlined path to implementation.
Using body temperature determinations, Clovity’s IoT platform performs reporting, automation, and data transmission to integrated systems. A critical piece of the solution was integration with Open Options’ DNA Fusion Access Management software. Together with Clovity’s CSensorNet, the system can automatically bar or revoke entry for anyone deemed a potential infection risk—without employee interaction. This also paved the way for new access management, location, and badging use cases that are expected to become widespread across U.S. facilities. Clovity has also added integrations with HID Global badge readers and Kronos workforce management software to further expand solution capability and value.
With integration to DNA Fusion, Clovity has expanded its Smart Thermal Screening solution while adding further Smart Building and Smart Campus functionalities. These capabilities are now incorporated into Clovity’s broader CSensorNet IoT platform, making access management use cases available to all clients.
““Partnering with Clovity has been a great step into expanding the capabilities of our DNA Fusion platform into enterprise IoT and critical data. This type of software collaboration will continue to provide more value for enterprise and public sector clients in the future.” — Chuck O’Leary, President, Open Options”
““Collaborating with Open Options to integrate our CSensorNet IoT platform has been incredible and brought a whole new dimension to our Smart Campus and Smart Building solutions. Badging will be a focal point for IoT in the coming years with almost unlimited possibilities in experiential, optimization, and security use cases.” — Anuj Sachdeva, Chief Executive Officer, Clovity”
